Image

Saturday, October 12

Learn from the best and have fun doing it. Our workshops are led by industry and skill experts, but we've taken great strides to make sure each event is inclusive of everyone, no matter their skill-level or financial situation.

If you're going to spend part of your Saturday with us, we want you to love every bit of it—and leave with a new skill or two.

The Pricing Game

with Rebecca Blake—Design Director, Optimum Design & Consulting
10:00am – 12:00pm at Vault Virginia
$20

Ever wonder how to price design projects when negotiating with clients? The Pricing Game is the Graphic Artist Guild's fun, interactive, shout-it-out workshop that showcases how real designers price real projects. We’ll showcase three design projects: a logo, a high-end brochure, and a brand refresh and label design. You’ll get all the information you would gather before bidding on the job, then you'll “bid” on the project, and see what the other attendees would bid. We’ll reveal what the actual designer bid and invoiced, and we’ll talk a bit about how they priced that project.
